Heide-Motorsport travels to Hockenheimring with a tailwind

Final spurt of the DTM Trophy starts with weekend at the Hockenheimring

The coming weekend heralds the double header for the DTM Trophy teams and thus the final spurt of the season – with the races at Hockenheim and the Norisring, the last two race weekends are just around the corner.

The last races of the GT series for young drivers as part of the DTM were very successful for Heide-Motorsport. Two pole positions, one victory and one second place went to the account of Lucas Mauron (CH) and his team from Witten. The aim now is to build on this and leave the run of bad luck behind for the rest of the season.

For the entire Audi team, the aim is to continue the upward trend. Sophie Hofmann (DE) and Sebastian Kornely (DE) are steadily developing from race to race and are getting better and better at handling the Audi R8 LMS GT. Both already know the track at Hockenheim from previous events and are motivated to take the next step in their driving development on the 4.574 km Grand Prix circuit.

The community of the motorsport family, which is also very close to the heart of the team from Witten, must not be neglected. In addition to autograph sessions by the three drivers and giveaways for our young fans, donations will continue to be collected for the flood victims along the Ahr River under the hashtag #raceAHRdonation.
More information about the fundraiser will always be posted on www.raceahrdonation.com.
